About Fetch Quest Remastered

Fetch Quest Remastered is a visual novel that expands the hit game Fetch Quest with more content, upgraded graphics and unlockable extras through different story routes.Would-be adventurer Flora accepts a job to retrieve a stolen item for a shady bartender. To retrieve the item, she'll have to infiltrate a group of notorious bandits by posing as a new recruit.Fortunately, she has the help of two other adventurers……unfortunately, they are completely useless without her!According to the strangely vocal narrator, this would have gone more smoothly if everyone had remembered to make their characters beforehand...Join Flora and her (poorly-prepared) companions Connor and Todd on their role-playing (mis)adventure and help them complete the quest that their resourceful Dungeon Master has planned for them.

✦ AI summary

Players praise the game for authentically capturing the awkward charm and humor of a tabletop D&D experience, with well-written characters that feel genuine and relatable alongside genuine romance elements. The main complaints center on the game's brevity and broken achievements, though the narrative replayability and in-game gallery help offset the short playtime somewhat.

I played the original version back when it first came out and absolutely loved it, so of course I had to pick up the remaster! I've also DMed a whole campaign since then, and I found myself loving it even more on my second go-around for how REAL it feels. I laughed out loud multiple times, the writing really captures the tone of a tabletop game that's all mixed up between in-character dialogue/narration and the players goofing around. I love all the characters, they feel like people I might run into at the local game store and the romance is very sweet and not overplayed. Wholeheartedly recommend!

This game is really cute! It really does perfectly capture the vibe of an awkward D&D oneshot (in a charming way!). You can tell the dev really had a lot of love for the subject matter. Having said that, the game is really short, although it does seem to have decent replayability. Alas, achievements seem to be totally broken right now, which sucks as an achievement hunter (although the in game gallery seems to be working fine). If you have the money to spare I definitely recommend giving this game a shot!
