When I started playing FightingChicken I thought nothing much of it, "It's just a game where you shoot bats as a chicken", I dismissed. Within the first three minutes of finding my footing, or 'wingings' if you will, I discovered a hidden depth to the expansive world the developer created, with the horizon stretching endlessly, one could imagine flying off into the distance and starting a new nest. That would be if it weren't for the responsibility of laying new eggs on your beloved patches of grass that sprout momentarily amidst the swarms of bats. It is this juxtaposition of one's need for freedom and one's responsibility to the future that truly keeps you playing this masterpiece. Dodging between the bat's and their projectiles is fun to master, but it is the necessary breaks to lay more eggs that break the eventual monotony that would be fighting bat after bat, and give that little push for variety that allows one to stay on track for this game's goal. I can't say for sure if I'd recommend this game for everyone, as the sense of comfort and security that comes with this game can be jarring for those lacking in this area within their personal lives, but if you find that l…
