About File 47

File 47 is not just a game; it’s a window into a shattered mind, an endless echo of a memory that should never have been.In this disturbing psychological survival horror, you will descend into a nightmare that defies logic and reality. A labyrinth of fragmented memories, endless hallways that transform, and shadows that shouldn’t be there. Every decision matters, every corner hides a secret, and every step could be your last. The past cannot be buried, but can you face it? Unravel the dark mysteries of a trauma marked by violence, explore the deepest recesses of the human mind, and search for answers in a world that refuses to give them up.Every experience in File 47 is unique and random, with events and environments that change with each playthrough. But be careful: after midnight, the game shifts, becoming even more disturbing and pushing the limits of your sanity. The real question is not what you’ll find at the end, but what you’ll lose along the way.Are you ready to open the file?

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this game. A constant oppressive atmosphere that does not relent whatsoever. The puzzles can be quite jaunting but I didn't think they were hard to understand in the long run. The subject matter is quite deep and if you are easily triggered by mentally dark topics - I do not recommend it. As a horror game, it is excellent, and for only 4 USD? Easily worth.

I do have to give the developer credit for handling such a sensitive subject in a way that doesn't exploit and trivialize an unfortunate circumstance that affects so many Americans.
I'm talking about school shootings
Video games for years have been an avenue of story telling, horror games in particular covering the darker realities of our world. Movies, TV, and music have discussed this topic for years so it was only a matter of time before we came across it in a game. My fear when sensitive topics like these are presented in games is that the developer will lazily take advantage of a horrible situation and throw in a half ass story with cheap jump scares and elements of shock value. File 47 handles the subject in a way that I truly believe is meant to be jarring and unsettling, but real. It does not feel cheap, but something that truly was handled with care. Not an easy thing to do but the developer has gained my respect for taking a leap at something so difficult like this and doing it right. While I do have my own issues with the game in regards to pacing and a single check point, that when I failed a hangman puzzle I had to back track and redo so much …

Completed the game with 8/11 achievements. Its a spectacular realistic horror game with the most bizare cutscenes ever that just pop up randomly. Magnificent levels like bloody haunted school, graveyard, haunted spooky houses and more. This game is so amazing and fun i give it 10/10 for sure :D

File 47 is very hard to categorise. Creepy, enerving and with a tiny detail I liked that will only be seen by those who look very deeply, or, in this case, use a walkthrough. That took a chuckle out of me. Extremely advisable to try, and with a fair price to boot. If you want to check it for yourself, press the link below: https://youtu.be/HzI9wQZqenk

I didn't understand this game nor it's puzzles. It really needs to make clearer identifiers on if you are progressing or not. Similarly, it shouldn't take 3 people trying to solve a game. This isn't fun, it's just boring. I would not recommend (I could be dumb for not being able to solve the levels but even then, it's not straight forward at all).
