✦ AI summary
Players praise the game's surprisingly authentic approach to childbirth from a medical perspective, with some calling it a standout experience. Common complaints include an overly complicated menu system that makes accessing settings unnecessarily difficult and loud music that's hard to adjust, though some appreciate the labor QTE mechanics as immersive despite the game's idealized portrayal of what is typically a more chaotic and stressful real-world experience.

I can birth my own child now thanks to this game. I love the loud music you can't turn down because the config menu takes 15 clicks to access.4 found this helpful

not a mother and dont plan to be but i can truly say from a med student pov, this game is highly true to a real birth experience but if i do say so myself, there were a few things that were a bit more fictionalized for the sake of a game namely: ~ A completely "calm" birth experience ~ A caring husband who didn't pass out, ask a bazillion stupid ass questions, AND actually gave his wife amazing care during and after birth ~ (this one might just be because American healthcare sucks ass) nurses who actually know how to do their job and manage to answer questions in a manner that wont scare the ever living ♥♥♥♥ out of the patient ALSO no male nurses blaming the patient for things out of her control ~ and lastly an itemized bill of everything it cost to have a child and it not getting denied by health insurance (also blaming American healthcare for that one) all in all... pretty good game would not recommend to a real mother unless they know that the American healthcare system is not at ALL like this. (why the ♥♥♥♥ did i play this?)
