Fitz the Fox

An adorable throwback platformer that nails the original GameBoy aesthetic in its pixel art. Overall, the Fitz sections of the game were quite enjoyable. It was a nice gameplay shakeup to play as Feona and using the gun to essentially fly through the air however the final world of the Feona only section felt like a strange jump in difficulty from the previous worlds. When it comes to the final, final world I actually had to go back in order to get the Fitz version because the Feona version did not feel enjoyable enough for me to want to complete. Overall, it's a very cute and enjoyable platforming experience. Extra bonus points for including a manual.

This game was quite a challange. Which start as an easy platformer but goes much harder closer to the end. Especially frustrating is the fact if you choose fox with a gun levels are significantly harder and longer. Also you can use only one checkpoint per level at world 3 keep that in mind. If you love ao old fashioned platformer genre this game is for you.

Very simple, but interesting and yet challenging 2D platformer game. Graphics keep resemblance with GameBoy games. 8bit music suits the genre and theme. Story is also quite simple the way it used to be for GB games. So don't expect something deep. If you are fan of GB style games, this one is for you. I recommend it.

Despite the initial impressions, this game is a rage game. Precise platforming is needed, you will frequently be trying to jump out of the way of one enemy only to shoot yourself directly into a pixel-sized bullet. This is a short game. Despite all of my failed attempts, I was able to complete the game in 2 hours. The first act is your standard platformer. Once you complete the first act you are rewarded with a fun spin on the damsel in distress trope and a completely new gameplay mechanic. You always start with three lives, and once those lives are gone it's game over and you'll need to start the level again. But for some reason, if you get a game over during the second act, you have to start from stage one of that act, yet the act before and after this only has you restarting from the stage you died on. This was hugely annoying due to the second act being the hardest of them all! If you manage to accumulate 500 points by collecting the chillies scattered across each level or killing enemies, you will be given an extra life (which was a saving grace for me many times). This retro platformer starts off easy, but quickly increases the challenge. It has some of the most difficult spike jumps; I've seen in a while. If that interest you, you probably already enjoy platformers and are looking for another challenge.

One of the most gruesome, disturbing and offensive games I've ever played. Very enjoyable. Just tread lightly.
