Flash Diving

[h1]The game is small and very primitive.[/h1] [list][*]The game mechanics are so thin they're hard to describe. There're not many of them. [*]If you ask me whether to play it or not, I'd say no. [*]Will you be surprised by the game? Definitely no. [/list] 5/10. Very poor and small game, coulda done more.

Definitely not a very complicated game, a very neat little demo of an idea. It felt like I would die in fairly unfair ways near the end because of the strangely tight reaction window to fend off the beast, where I would die even after everything goes quiet. Other than that, it is a fine game

Very good game ! It took me some time to understand the gimmick (I actually got both [spoiler] Cheater. [/spoiler] and [spoiler] You've played this before. [/spoiler] achievements before the normal one) but, once understood, it was a really fun experience. The ambience is really well made, maybe the single flaw I can see in the sound design is the footstep noise being super loud but it doesn't really bothers much. Anyways, if you see this, then I really want you to play this game, it's a really short experience and you won't be disappointed !

Audio cues were fairly quiet then flashing the monster was fairly loud, had to keep turning my headset volume up and down. Refreshing mechanics of using audio cues and interesting concept. I could see this game being turned in to more. Overall, worth the 30 minutes it took for me to 100% it

Flash Diving is a short first-person horror experience that turns a simple underwater investigation into an increasingly uncomfortable descent into the unknown. Developed and published by Paraxodon, it places the player inside a cramped capsule sent beneath the ocean to investigate the disappearance of a drilling machine. What begins as a seemingly routine recovery operation quickly develops into something far more disturbing, with darkness, isolation, strange sounds, and unreliable visibility becoming the primary sources of fear. The story takes place against a bleak science-fiction backdrop in which natural resources have become scarce and international tensions have escalated into a cold war. An unusual anomaly discovered beneath the ocean prompts the government to dispatch drilling equipment to investigate, only for contact with the machine to suddenly disappear. With the possibility of sabotage hanging over the operation, the player is sent down to locate the missing drill and retrieve its stored information. I tried this a few times and never managed to figure out how it worked and I seem to remember getting achievements anyway, and at least one said I cheated when I had no idea how I did.
