History
Development on Fleshport officially started in March of 2016. It began as a small passion project as a means to bring myself out of a slump in my life, and it graduated into something far more ambitious than I intended. It's been a long road, and although I hope to keep my next adventure a lot shorter, I feel everything I've learned made it time well spent. I hope you enjoy my creation, I look forward to sharing my worlds with you.

"Fleshport" is a horror-adventure RPGMaker game. It's very unique and you can feel the love that went into the making of this game. The most "filling" horror game yet! ^^ Just be careful to not end up being the dessert... Grimy, creepy, eerie, spooky, disturbing, gory, grotesque, bleak. Those are only some of the words one can use to describe it. What truly makes it unsettling isn't even the story itself (a random fleshport, a portal, swallowed you and spit you out in a cannibalistic world). No... The allegorism, the metaphors and small random commentary and situations, are though... I don't want to go into great detail as to not spoil it but I found it astonishing how can such a small indie game touch upon subjects varying from political, sociological and ethical, to psychological and borderline existential. And, even more amazing, was how it managed to pull it off so seemingly effortlessly, smoothly and camouflaged. It flies under the radar because of the theatrics of the story itself but, you can see through all the smoke due to subtle hints scattered throughout documents, books, paintings, lines of dialogue, Nipsy (your guide bunny) and more! A refreshing take …5 found this helpful
This game kinda rules. just a short and sweet RPG maker horror game I got on a whim. if you got 9 bucks, give it a shot.3 found this helpful
First of all: Do not save the game while you are being chased. This may cause the game to crash any time you try to continue the game and if you only used one save slot, you will have to restart the game. I had to restart the game which was annoying but in my second playthrough I remembered not to save while being chased and everything went well.

The song the developer made is very nice. They even have it on Spotify. When you upload a game to Steam I guess it's a bit of roulette. Regardless of an indie game's quality, there's a chance that not many people will discover and play it. I think the thumbnail art for the game looks both boring and weird. The trailer also does not do the game justice. Overall, I am very impressed with the game. I only have some minor things to criticise. I don't really understand the lore but I have ADHD so it might not be the game's fault. Aside from the game crashing maybe 2 or 3 times in my second playthrough, I don't remember encountering any bugs. I believe the game only crashed due to me speedrunning through the dialogue since I had already read it all in my first playthrough. I think the music throughout the game is fine but it's a bi…3 found this helpful
This was a really good experience. I'm glad I gave this game a try. Love it overall. It's a shame the game seems to have received so little attention. The atmosphere, sound design, and artstyle are all fantastic. I also enjoyed the story concept and characters a lot. It's a really neat little setting that places the protagonist in a dystopian world of cannibals, but it also goes out of it's way to explain why the world is the way it is, and also still let's the 'monstrous' people of the world be actual characters, some with regrets and emotions beyond just the urge for meat. Expect a bit of rpg maker jank in some of the game, like enemys that can get really fast, with the expectation that you solve some sort of puzzle before getting killed. There is nothing too hard in the game, but expect a bit of trial and error.2 found this helpful
I have never played a game with an atmosphere quite like this one. Puzzles range from trivial to tricky, with one driving me barking mad (you'll know it when you see it). Stock up on food for a secret at the end.1 found this helpful
i haven't beaten the game yet, but this is a really good RPGmaker horror game! brings me back to when i was a lil' ontan and played Ib, Mad Father, Yume Nikki, etc. for the first time. i really like that this is much more 'worldbuilding' compared to others and the premise is unique. this game is CRIMINALLY underrated! i'd put it up there with the other RPGmaker horror game pantheon <3 hope the dev is doing great, keep it up
