About FLEX Disc Golf

WHAT'S THE GAME?

It's a third person disc golf simulator designed to give an authentic playing experience similar to being on the course with physics of actual disc golf - giving both challenge and reward!

WHAT'S DISC GOLF?

Disc golf plays very similar to golf but uses concaved discs that are thrown into baskets rather than golf balls that are hit by clubs into holes.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Play on courses throughout the world, find lost discs or buy new ones, and learn new throws and styles! Experience realistic gameplay while being surrounded by highly detailed nature.

WHAT COURSES ARE THERE?

There are courses constantly added to the game - some of which are actual courses throughout the world. As FLEX continues to grow in popularity, so too will the course list!

WHAT ELSE IS COMING?

There's lots in the works for FLEX, primarily multiplayer! Playing with friends truly multiplies the excitement of disc golf. We want your friends to see that Ace you got just as much as you!

The game certainly needs a lot of work! The UI is awful—barely readable in the main menu, making it difficult to even see what the options are. Then there's the gameplay. Oh boy. The aiming line is absolutely terrible. The game doesn’t explain what the "throw meters" do—one seems to be for distance, and the other for power (?). There’s no real sense of how far or high your throw will go. No indication, no feedback—nothing. You’re left guessing, hoping to magically hit the meters perfectly by pure luck. Worse, I get different results in my throws even when using the same disc with the same distance and power. It makes no sense. Then there's the backhand/forehand issue. Characters automatically go for a backhand even when you choose a forehand. The maps are a mess—too many trees. And speaking of trees, the disc will hit every single one because the hitboxes are massive. Even when it looks like you're nowhere near a tree, there's a high chance you'll bounce off it or get stuck. For a game where precision is supposed to be key, these issues are unacceptable. There's also no way to properly view the course except for a quick flyover when entering a tee pad, and even that doesn’t a…

I just didn't get it. The game needs a tutorial or something. I tried everything I could think of but after ten minutes couldn't figure out how to throw the disc. I don't have a gamepad. Perhaps that's why.

I really like his game. love the free roaming in between holes. very fun realistic game for someone who actually disc golfs. there are things that needs to be fixed or added. there is not drive range, it shows it has a drive range option but its not playable. You can get stuck in nothing and have to jump a bunch to get free. Your disc can hit nothing or a tiny twig and fly off course dramatically. the scoreboard at the end is not able to be read because the games controls are still on and the only way to start the controls on the scoreboard is if you push Esc, but that closes the whole thing and goes back to main menu 2 of my disc disappeared out of my bag. Had to buy them again. I would like it if we could pick more players and could buy them clothes and disc bags. Maybe buy a rangefinder in game to get a better view of where the pin is. I think a practice yard where you can buy and place your own basket and trees/ bushes would be very cool too. i noticed the demo lets you walk around the shop but the real game doesn't. the shop just opens a menu of discs to buy eventually if it could get a multiplayer mode where you can play with random people in these courses and even w…

Keep an eye on it, but right now I wouldn't recommend it. I like how it's called Flex disc golf but the one the the discs doesn't do is flex. All the discs fly the same, you put it on a line and it flies on that line. In real life if i throw a firebird short, it will fade out hard. In this it will land straight as an arrow. On some courses the hitboxes are outrageous. However. It has so much potential to be good if they fix those things. It's better than its competitors, and I think the courses are really cool. Graphics top notch.

Neat idea, terrible execution. Honestly, I never thought there could be a disc golf game that could ever make me want to quit disc golf. This game does just that. Graphics aren't bad, but game mechanics and disc physics are awful. Discs do not fly like discs, lines and distances are inaccurate, and ground interaction physics are about as bad as they can be. Zero skipping, once a disc hits the ground it tumbles and bounces uncontrollably. Pars are impossible, mainly due to all discs not gliding at all. No chain physics, and some putts fall straight through the bottom of the basket at random. If you are looking for a disc golf game, there is a great game currently in development called Disc Golf Masters that needs work, but physics are pretty much on point. 0/5 Stars, save your 5$ for something else, or anything else, really.
