About Floating Cuboid
You are an infinitely jumping cube, that doesn't mean that the challenges in front of you become any easier however, sometimes it is hard to stop yourself and sometimes you go too far, but can you make it just like you were before, in one piece?
This game was made in about 3-4 weeks. Floating Cuboid has you go through 20 levels filled with all kinds of challenges that you have to get through. You can jump an infinite amount of times while mid-air but you cannot stop your horizontal momentum. Watch out for death blocks because they will certainly be your doom. There are a total of 3 endings in the game, can you get them all?
Left and Right arrow keys - Move
Z - Jump
Mouse to navigate in menus
SeventyFour Productions - Programming / Graphics / Music / Some sounds / Story and concept
Bro. Three - Sounds
Freesound - Sounds, individual people that made the sounds are credited in the game.
This game was originally released on July 3rd, 2020.

"Floating Cuboid" is a badly made, phoned in 2D retro pixel platformer, one of literally thousands of these on Steam, and this is one of the worst ones. The developer boasts they couldn't be bothered investing the required amount of time it takes to make a game properly and bashed this out in less than a month, and it shows. It's a weird flex to tell people you did the job badly on purpose... and this does absolutely nothing to benefit gamers. It just makes indie devs look worse. There's basic platforming here and it's hard to say if the game is difficult because it's meant to be or because the devs were just lazy. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind…3 found this helpful
More neutral about it but I just didn't like the controls. I just didn't feel like I had enough control of my jumps since I could only move forward.1 found this helpful
Level 7 is frustrating...
this game is a rage game but not because it's challenging, it's because the controls suck ass. play something else like the creators other games. for example the search for a colour palette is pretty good, but don't play this. you deserve better.
