Flood Escape

"Flood Escape" is an Early Access asset flip that's deep in development hell. The objective was to make some kind of asset flip BR game with a twist, you fight over an area with a severe case of rising damp. Nobody wanted this. Nobody played this. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. Sure, some of the stuff here is from the developer... you can tell from the misapplied textures and general garbage quality. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets properly usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's free... now, but it wasn't before, the developer was trying to gouge gamers a whopping $5 USD for a selection of assets from the Unreal Marketplace. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product.
