Experienced on the Oculus Rift (CV1)
This is a purely cinematic, 9 minute long experience. There are no interactions (although you can look in the mirror and see yourself moving around). You do not use motion controllers at all. The experience starts automatically. The "game" is running on the Unreal Engine. It is voiced in English (in my region). Most of the experience, I believe, is actually 360 Stereoscopic video, just mixed in with a 3D game environments. However, certain scenes are all done with 3D environments and 3D models. The voice acting was surprisingly good, even though you could tell it was dubbed. And, of course, the actress is very beautiful. However, the story ended abruptly. I was shocked when the credits started rolling. That was it? For 5 bucks ($10 normal price)? Are you kidding me? Also, certain scenes were too dark. I think because the whole experience is too short, there just wasn't much of an actual story. If you have seen the store page video, you've basically experienced "the game." Although, I will admit, the snake looked pretty cool in VR. [b]Rate 4.5/10. It's not bad, it's just way overpriced for what it is. Just compare it to Gloomy Eyes…3 found this helpful
It's kind of like a ride at D-Land but in VR . It's good, price is way too much for what it is though. It's just like, 1 ride, no more, if they had more "rides" that would be better.1 found this helpful
This is impressive, but at only 7 minutes long it would need to be free or under a pound for me to recommend it.1 found this helpful
