Short game with only a couple of issues. The pixel art is really good, some very nice scenes. The OST fits, nothing too remarkable. The game plays an awful lot like Dead Cells, not a bad thing, but it is remarkably similar. It's mostly smooth, small issue with getting up onto a ledge and attack something while it's stood on the edge though. Character sometimes sticks to the wall while wall jumping instead of jumping away from it. Couldn't work out why. Not a bad game.

This is a good platformer game with a decent combat control system. The game seems like it is more suitable in new game+.

[/olist] Cons: [olist] [*]Story is greatly disappointing. [*]After the first few areas, combat increasingly begins to feel unfair, with the dodge mechanic being particularly bad in that regard. [*]Loot system is insultingly bad. [*]Very, very little change in gameplay mechanics over the course of the game. [*]Most skills are uninteresting and not enjoyable to use. [*]Areas begin to drag on, with the final major area being particularly bad, feeling as though the developers were deliberately padding the game's last area to meet some arbitrary gameplay minimum. [/olist] [hr][/hr] Foregone has promise. It really does. Fantastic pixel art, a great soundtrack, good voice acting, and relatively fluid combat at the beginning are all points in its favor. But the game just positively [b]drags[/b] on with very, very little change in the core function of your character, their capabilities, or the overall gameplay.
