Игра 'FORWARD' приятно удивила своей оригинальной механикой перемещения. Поначалу кажется, что толкать ящики вперед – это все, что нужно, но очень быстро головоломки начинают требовать стратегического мышления и планирования на несколько шагов вперед. Графика простая, но стильная, а минималистичное звуковое сопровождение не отвлекает от процесса. Уровни становятся достаточно сложными, чтобы бросить вызов игроку, но при этом не вызывают чувства непреодолимой фрустрации. Лично мне понравилось, как игра постепенно обучает своим механикам, вводя новые элементы постепенно и органично. Никаких длинных и скучных туториалов – просто практическое применение знаний. 'FORWARD' – это отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет короткие, но насыщенные головоломки, требующие логики и немного терпения. Можно увлеченно провести час-другой, решая уровни один за другим. It’s free, so I gave it a shot. In this game, you go forward. 🙃 … In all seriousness, it’s a simple game with a synthwave / neon aesthetic that reminded me of a CS surf map. It’s fun—for a while. Heads up: I started feeling a bit dizzy halfway through. If you're prone to motion sickness or have epilepsy, you might want to skip this one. You've been warned.

I only vote positive because it's free. The game needs some improvements like the chance to invert the controls, more levels and more difficulty. Is an extremely easy game that you can complete in less than 20 minutes. Barely requires any reflexes. Is like the pre-alpha of something interesting.

"FORWARD" is a basic endless runner, think Super Hexagon with slightly better graphics. Only very slightly. The minimalist neon backdrops do not help the shallow avoidance gameplay. What do you do in the game? You just "fly" down a tunnel, don't hit stuff. Yawn. This game features very lacklustre minimalist low poly neon "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game.
