Frol Blok

Frol Blok takes the familiar logic of an old-fashioned point-and-click adventure and rebuilds it around virtual reality, turning ordinary puzzle interactions into physical actions. Developed and published by GDL and Harbor, this 2018 release is a relatively small VR experience centered on exploration, experimentation, and escaping a dangerous situation. Rather than relying on elaborate combat or a sprawling campaign, it concentrates on giving players a confined environment filled with objects that can be examined and manipulated while they work toward a solution. The story follows Frol Blok, an eccentric independent scientist from the fictional snowy region of Santa-Beria. His experiments with invisibility have not gone according to plan, and a bomb intended to destroy evidence of a potential failure has become an immediate threat. With roughly fifteen minutes remaining before the device detonates, the player must investigate the surroundings and determine how to escape the predicament.
