The writing is painfully weak, with dialogue that feels unnatural and lacking any real military authenticity. There’s no proper terminology, no believable communication style, and it constantly breaks immersion. On top of that, the aliens themselves feel uninspired, especially when they’re just running around using the same weapons(space AKs) as your squad(Oh yeah, First Contact is getting done by Spetsnaz). There’s no sense of mystery, threat, or originality just a very surface-level setup that never evolves. [h2]Game Mechanics:[/h2] Mechanically, the game feels shallow and restrictive. There’s no research system, no base building, and no meaningful progression. Just a linear sequence of missions where you occasionally unlock something new, but it rarely feels impactful. Combat is where things really start to fall apart. Reloading costs an absurd amount of AP, often consuming almost an entire turn, which completely disrupts the pacing and flow of battles. ...it has so much potential to tell a Russian narrative of X-COM events, very similar to the aforementioned game, but lacking polish in many aspects. Unfortunately, turn-based and military games are few and far between. It disappoints a bit in terms of AI, but with a discount on Steam it's a game that's somewhat fun, although it's far from having the refinement of games like X-COM or Phoenix Point. When you launch the game it's all in russian so you may have a problem to find the setting and change the language if you don't know cyryllic. Game itself is extremely basic.

Much like an XCOM clone. Squad tactics of an alien invasion. Works quite well, but limited in scope. Not bad, worth it on special. CONS: Campaign is short - 18 hours RNG is bad - anything under 80% is a miss - so not worth the ammo - send a grenade instead.
