Galactic Landing, developed and published by Kobra Studio, is a minimalist space-themed arcade lander game that challenges players to guide a spacecraft safely through increasingly hostile planetary environments. At its core, the game focuses on one deceptively simple concept: land your ship without crashing. While that idea might sound basic on paper, the game adds layers of complexity through fuel management, environmental hazards, and physics-driven controls that make each descent a test of both precision and timing. Designed as a lightweight indie title with modest system requirements, it caters to players looking for quick, accessible gameplay rather than a sprawling or narrative-heavy space simulation. The experience begins with a straightforward introduction: pilot a small spacecraft through gravity-driven scenarios filled with threats like meteor showers, laser turrets, moving obstacles, and alien weaponry. Your goal in each level is to find a safe landing spot and set down your ship without exceeding a speed threshold or colliding with environmental objects. Clunky and left in early access.
Interesting concept but the execution leaves something to be desired. Some levels seem near impossible, bad RNG instagibs you 1 second into some runs, and your hitbox is slightly larger than your lander which leads to feeling cheated when navigating narrow pathways. Art style is kinda charming at first but the MS paint looking... "monitors?" feel more phoned in than comical. Would not recommend. P.S. Achievements are bugged, you cannot 100% this game.
