A master class in bad UI design overlaying a fundamentally uninteresting gameplay experience. Here is every turn: Click scan, click current star, click explore, click every planet once, hover over stargate spots and click the one with the highest efficiency, click button to exit explore mode (no hotkey), click same star again, click stargate, click target star to connect stargate to that star, click target star, click jump, click end turn. Sometimes you might also have to click 'exchange resources' and then buy new probes. That's it.26 found this helpful
maybe worth it on sale, but absolutely not worth 6$, I agree with what the other negative review says, I can live with poor UI but the fundamental gameplay loop is just kinda boring, and resource interest makes it so you barely even have to play the game at a certain point.5 found this helpful
I don't know what I am doing, just clicking buttons "available" that's pretty much it. There isn't really any "game play" just buttons available per "turn". Very uninteresting. There is no tutorial, because their isn't really anything to do.1 found this helpful
After you Max out your ship, and have a lot of resources the gameplay runs out of steam. Also I feel like I would have enjoyed this a lot more if the galaxy map and the system map remained front-and-centre during gameplay. The other elements could slide in from left/right/bottom to cover a much smaller portion of the screen. The planets look good, and I appreciate the data list that tells you about their physical properties and environment. I enjoyed scanning and linking stargates, but I think the stargate linking interface should be an overlay on the galactic map.1 found this helpful
