I find this game strangely addicting and loads of fun despite how simple it is. Its a good game for just not worrying and getting a good chuckle and you can make your mooj fairly different. Pros: Relaxing Silly and cute Addicting Cons: it can be a bit buggy its not entirely clear on what to do could still use more to do(personal bias)

I'm gonna preface this by saying: I don't recommend the game at full price. If you get a good sale on it (I got it on winter sale for about $4 I think?) then absolutely I recommend giving it a whirl, however I don't think it's worth the full $15, don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad game by any means. I enjoy my time on this game, but it really is more of a $5 game in my opinion. Most of the time during the day I end up running around grabbing food and putting it near the altar for my mooj to munch on. When all the food's collected there's not much to do other than ring the bell and initiate the second part of the game; tower defense. It sounds more intimidating than it is, all you really have to do is hold your mooj and be near the enemies and they'll be dead in a few seconds. It's engaging enough to pass the night to gather more food during the day. Outside of gathering food, making eggs, buying hats, and defending the altar from monsters, there's not a lot to do...there are quests though, which are nice. The graphics are alright; they're nothing to write home about, but they work for this cutesy game. The gameplay's alright, not too interesting not too borin…

Garden of Mooj is a monster farmer simulator where you raise cute little slime monsters called Mooj. You find different types of food and feed them to your Mooj and it will train their stats in different ways. Every night even scarier monsters come to try and destroy your Mooj statue and you must defend yourself using the Mooj you have raised. Once you train your Mooj, their abilities can unlock gates to allow you passage into new areas, as you make your way across the world trying to save it from a mysterious enemy. Mooj is fairly similar to games like Slime Rancher and the Chao Garden from Sonic Adventure, and was a lot of fun. The game also has a really decent jazz/easy listening soundtrack. I got this game for free on keymailer and it turned out to be pretty good. I made a video of it here: https://youtu.be/Gzm_PE5ap9c https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2627229231

Garden of Mooj is a nice stroll down pet sim memory lane; there are absolutely not enough modern games in the genre for my taste so I appreciate when I find a good one. Could it be more? Of course, but the main aspects of caring for/raising stat and color based creatures is there and I appreciate it for what it was. If I had to criticize anything, the standard day timers feel too short (though there is a sandbox mode), there is not a good inventory system to help keep Mooj strategically gaining stats, and the tutorial is pretty lacking when it comes to the explanations of various features (like the sell box or breeding). This all said, it is fun at the core gameplay loop and that is what matters.

Simple, fun, colorful, slowly increases in difficulty.

A silly game similar to slime rancher, but with more things to do with your mooj.
