About Voxelotl Garden
About This Game
Voxelotl are a special breed of creature that live a simple and joyful life. They live together on a simple island that provides them with all the comforts they need to survive. They have plenty of food and water, as well as places to hide if things get scary. Voxelotl are not the same breed as the traditional Axolotl in the sense that they have the unique ability to live on land. You have a special opportunity to raise some of your very own Voxelotl and earn their love and respect. Help give your new friends a life full of companionship, love, and entertainment!
Personalities
Each Voxelotl has a unique personality. Some Voxelotl may be social and some may simply want to hide from any action. Spend time with your Voxelotl to learn more about them!
Breeding
Ensure that dominant features are passed on by breeding parents with the same features. Ensure a new feature not found in either parent by breeding parents with different features. Breed to get the perfect Voxelotl!
Interact with Voxelotls
Feed them.
Play with them.
Manage hunger.
Manage sleepiness.
Change clothing.
Teach them new tricks such as dancing, singing, playing instruments, drawing, and more!
Voxelotl Goals
Voxelotl have their own goals and they need your help to achieve them. Achieving goals helps increase your bond with the Voxelotl and can also earn you some prizes.
Purchase from the store
Purchase hats, special consumable items, or educational books for teaching Voxelotl new tricks.
Training Stations
Each training station increases the creature’s skills and makes them more likely to succeed in competitions!
There are four training stations placed in the garden. Help your Voxelotl grow stronger and win in competitions!
Decorations
Purchase decorations from the store and customize your garden. You can place decorations anywhere in the garden to make it feel more like home!
Racing Minigame
Test the skills of your creature by entering them in the racing competition! Skills boost your Voxelotl in certain zones of races for a competitive edge based on their trained skills. Win races for unique prizes!

While this game looked promising, it has not been updated since February 2024 and there's been no notice of its progress or cancellation (at least not on this platform) and appears abandoned at this point. There's a very cute premise here and a lot that could be done with it as it was and is still in Early Access. I don't believe in its current state with no updates it is worth buying. If you may want it I would consider keeping an eye on it and see if it comes back to life or if the project has been trashed. It's not a bad game and I could see it becoming popular as something adjacent to Chao Garden if it got back up and running. But as of now, it seems to just be collecting dust and stuck in its current state of matter.1 found this helpful
Fun
This is a pretty cute game! If you ever played sonic adventure 2 battle's chao garden, this is basically something very similar but with axolotls instead. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this game if you have an ultrawide. It is NOT at all optimized for large monitors! I couldn't even see all the menu options or game UI until I used cmd+F to play on a much smaller window. Pretty disappointing!
Cute and Cozy game, Devs seem to be working hard on updates and listening to community feedback very well. Its a relaxing and simple game perfect for adults who want to chill and small kids who just wanna play with little Voxelotl's
