About Garden of Oblivion
One day Reven awakens in a strange but beautiful place where the young teenager is treated like a very special guest. There are talking animals, each being rather kind and friendly. Unless the door is mentioned. The one in the back of the garden. But what could be behind that mysterious door? And why Reven isn’t allowed to go out? You shouldn’t try to know the truth…Garden of Oblivion is a visual novel/point & click hybrid with horror elements.

It was originally created in a weekend for Ludum Dare 30 with "Connected Worlds" as a theme.

Short game, but clearly the dev had fun making it. The art style is so 2010's Tumblr and oh boy does it get edgy. Like, Sonic.exe levels of edgy. The style is incredibly corny at times, but I feel like it adds some charm. The game, I believe, is about facing your mistakes rather than running away from them, so a solid message overall. Also, the achievements are a cake walk with you only needing to save once in order to get both endings. Definitely give this a playthrough because honestly why not? It's free, short, charming, and counts towards your perfect games.1 found this helpful

«Garden of Oblivion» — атмосферная хоррор-приключенческая игра с глубоким сюжетом и оригинальной механикой. Отличная графика и звуковая дорожка создают напряженную атмосферу, а разветвленный сюжет с множеством скрытых деталей удерживает в напряжении. Однако сложная система управления и частые баги могут оттолкнуть новичков. Рекомендую тем, кто ценит психологические элементы и готов разобраться в сложной системе.

The psychological aspects are significantly more interesting than the visual horror. The sense of discomfort was incredible. I wish the puzzle pieces had outlines to make them more distinguished from the background since black on black is hard to see and I though I was softlocked. Other than that, this was a short but sweet game.
