About Gargadusa's Tower
\: Hey! I want to make it super clear that this game is essentially Early Access (even though I labeled it incorrectly). I am working on it and updating it constantly. I'm very active in the official Discord and there is a free demo on the official website that you can check out ahead of time (link in the right column)!
ALSO: Although the game launched with AI placeholder art, I have been actively replacing that art with handcrafted art (115 items so far replaced) -- so you will see that change over time. Furthermore, I use Claude Code to scale my development work. To be clear, all game design, ideas, universe building, storylines, and all things creative come from me, but things like bug fixes, modularization, i18n localization, I use Claude to help with those tasks. I am unable to update the AI disclosure on Steam, so I wanted to make sure you saw this before purchase, just in case you are not comfortable with these tools.
LANGUAGES: This game is actively being translated by Claude into 15+ languages -- and while Claude is pretty good, there will be mistakes. If you see mistakes and would like to report them, please do so on the official Discord.
Thanks for checking the game out!

Build a guild. Recruit from 41 classes of adventurers. Send them into a 100-floor tower where death is permanent and your best warrior might not come back.
Every adventurer is procedurally generated with their own zodiac sun and moon signs, personality, stats, ambitions -- and flaws. An Aries berserker won't take orders the same way a Virgo tactician will. A Capricorn won't appreciate the Gemini kleptomaniac skimming off the top after every quest. Your job is to recruit them, train them, pay them, and try not to get too attached.THE TOWER AWAITSA massive buried tower has awoken beneath the frontier town of Hiltcrest, spewing monsters across the land. The Crown has authorized independent adventurer guilds to fight back. You are one of many Guild Masters who answered the call -- and most of them won't make it.RECRUIT & DEVELOP- Scout and sign adventurers across 41 unique classes, each with distinct stats and zodiac-driven personalities
- Train your heroes in combat, unlock traits through milestones, and watch raw recruits become legends (and eventually retire)
- Manage contracts, wages, chemistry and morale -- push them too hard and they'll walk; coddle them and they'll never survive the tower; put them with the wrong party and things could get interesting
- Guide your guild across generations as veterans retire and new blood takes their place
- Construct guild facilities: barracks, armory, infirmary, training grounds, and more
- Hire specialized staff: scouts to find talent, astrologers to read the stars, craftsmen to forge gear
- Climb the guild tier system from scrappy upstart to renowned institution
- Compete in annual rankings against 30 rival guilds -- or trade and negotiate with them -- each with their own personality, agenda, and desire to take down the Tower
- Deploy parties on quests ranging from simple bounties to full-scale raids
- Descend 100 floors of increasingly deadly challenges, each with unique threats
- Face powerful bosses and ultimately confront the mysterious final power
- When adventurers fall, the Guild must be rebuilt
- Hundreds of interacting systems: economy, reputation, weather, guild politics, adventurer relationships
- Procedurally generated adventurers ensure no two playthroughs build the same guild
- 30 rival guilds with their own ambitions, rosters, and diplomatic stances
- Your decisions ripple — a bad call on floor 47 can reshape your guild for years

Wow I never thought I would love this game so much. I just got stuck in it for about 6 hours. I don't like tutorials. My favorite part of games is figuring them out. This let me poke around and it's gonna let you go as fast or as slow as you can click pretty much. It's been fun to learn. I keep finding new menus and the surprise oh wow look at all these buildings I can make. Anyway lots to find and do. The person making it seems to really care and it is already fun. I mean if menus and numbers and administration seem fun to you, and don't forget it's got lots of numbers going up and down (hopefully up mostly). The UI isn't perfect but it's not bad and they give a lot of access to the way it looks which is a plus. Anyway I've really enjoyed this.1 found this helpful
Man, I rarely post reviews, but this game has the potential to be a fantasy manager dream. Even now in this early beta version you can easily get hours of play time. For transparency, I've cleared floor 10, my 6 party group OVR is showing 150, so I will continue to dig. I've barely touched the crafting or trading systems, and they already seem to have a lot to play with. The faction correspondence seems repetitive but it's so early who cares. Just wanted to share this review to say SUPPORT THIS GAME AND CREATOR!!! LET HIM COOK! BUY AND PLAY NOW!1 found this helpful
Great adventure guild simulation game. It really scratches the itch of managing and optimizing and progressing as you build up your roster of idiots and send them to their glorious death. Currently it's still in an early stage in terms of features and polish, yet it's so good that I've been no-lifing it since I got it. The core system/feature base is very engaging. And it has a ton of depth in a space that is frankly underexplored and not often pursued by devs due to the sheer scope of what's required to do it well. I'm surprised by how well it's done so far, so I'll continue playing and I'm looking forward to where it will go from here. Also, the developer is incredibly active and very responsive to feedback, releasing patch after patch, iterating on those systems at a pace I can't help but be impressed by. I can't imagine the potential of this game if development keeps up for the next few years. It's the type of game you just throw 1000 hours in without noticing, with all sorts of layers to explore and ways of playing it. Highly recommend giving at least the demo a try to see what it's like. You can pretty quickly appreciate if the game is for you or not, but after 50…1 found this helpful
Football manager meets Guild Manager with permadeath. If you like Pick Me Up and are looking for a game that can scratch the itch, this is it. Fair warning, it's a spreadsheet game that makes heavy use of AI--but it's also relatively unique in this niche. I've been scouring for a game like this for a while, this is just about the only example of it I've seen. Many other guild managers require you to still play as the adventurers in your guild, either in turn-based play or real time strategy--This is a pure manager, and that's what I love about it. The basics of the game are you're a guild manager trying to descend 100 floors of a tower to stop some cosmic threat. You assemble your guild, divide adventurers up into parties, quest, do raids, and generally try to find your way to the bottom of this massive underground tower. There's a few systems that separate this from a traditional party/guild manager in fun ways--Biggest of which is a reliance on party synergy. Every character is born under a zodiac sign, and those signs heavily influence which party members will work well together and which won't. This means building your strongest party is not as simple as just "stick your highe…1 found this helpful
Tihs is my Favorite game. If you like tower climb anime or LitRPG this is required. Not an optional quest.1 found this helpful
Break out the excel sheets, get your formulae flowing, we are going to MANAGE! Personally I don't really care if it's AI generated character images or not, the meat is in the various interlocked systems of which you try to compromise and manipulate to clear the tower.
