About Gaslamp Cases 6: Haunted Waters
Morgan Johnson, Jack Brown, and their colleague Eleanor May have solved many strange cases, both within and outside the city. Now their latest case takes them out to sea, where rumors and legends speak of unimaginable dangers. A merchant ship named the Asphodel set sail on its maiden voyage three months ago and then vanished without a trace. Could the stories of haunted waters and cursed ghost ships possibly be true? Together with some new allies, Morgan and the others board the Asphodel’s sister ship, the Black Hawk, and begin searching for clues. But the journey is fraught with danger. If they don’t uncover the truth soon, it could cost them their lives.

[i]Gaslamp Cases 6: Haunted Waters[/i] is another fun addition to eFunSoft's casual detective series, this time featuring better visuals compared to its predecessors. Sadly, much like any other games published by HH-Games, this title also does not have Steam achievements (which is a real pity), but it still offers a great way to unwind. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3756464408 This time, detective trio Morgan, Jack, and Eleanor investigate the merchant ship Asphodel, which has been missing for three months. Townsfolk believe the ship was cursed because it sailed through haunted waters, but the detectives plan to unearth the truth by boarding the Black Hawk and traveling that exact same route. It's a classic match-3 puzzle game, with all the familiar mechanics (power gems for multi-matches, various types of locked tiles, artifacts that drop to the bottom of the board, etc.). In each level, you are given a pre-set selection of power-ups to use freely to help clear the board. These are fixed per level, meaning you cannot buy more, and any unused ones won't transfer over to the next stage. A fun E-Funsoft match 3 game. It's like all oif the others but with better graphics. I recommend this one if you like other of their games.
