Not my usual cuppa tea. I generally go for point and click mystery games. This is a match 3 game with a bit of hidden objects. It follows the story of a serial killer that drains the victims of their blood. You as Detective Elliot need to search the crime scenes and follow leads. Each stage you have to complete several match 3 games to progress and arm yourself with bonus weapons that can aid you in your gameplay. All of it came to an abrupt stop for me when, hitting play, a prompt appeared that told me I should buy the upgrade version or so. Ah well, it is fun as it is. PROS: - Difficulty variety of match 3 games; - Simple Hidden Object scenes; - Interesting story; - Wonderful music; - Cute match 3 objects; - Easy to learn mechanics. CONS: - I would prefer no upgrades of any sorts. The whole game, please! - How can I use the other aiding weapons instead of the magnifying glass, axe and stake? All in all, a good game. I recommend it for the match 3 games. They are a delight! The music and the cute match 3 objects (bat, web, candles, axe, holy water, crucifix, etc.) is worth playing for!

Re-reading the description of this game I must say that there was nothing true. Thrilling? If watching a parliamentary debate gets you a thrill.... The story itself is shown in stills. Hidden object...eehhh not very interesting, they look like low res from 20 years ago. Uncover the dark....that's done without your input. So at last the Match-3 part is interesting? Nope! It is boring.

https://youtu.be/bpGBSE77Kuo Gameplay and narrative are disconnected in such a way that players interested in either side will be disappointed.

Just your basic Match 3 game, but it has a bit of a story to make it interesting. This is my second play-through and it was just as entertaining as the first time. Worth getting, but wait for a sale... always wait for a sale. >:[

The objects and 'shaded' boxes just blend in together too much which makes the time you spend with this super boring.

I always enjoy playing these Match 3 games from this developer. I like the challenge and the stories but I especially like the music. This particular game has the most beautiful, relaxing music--I will replay this game just to be able to listen to it again! EDIT: I just finished the game and I am already replaying it, not only for the music but because at the end you get to make a choice (which I did) and now I want to see what happens if I make a different choice! Nice touch developers! (UPDATE) I played through the entire game again, and made the alternate choice. I will say there are a few levels where the "no more moves/reshuffle" option didn't work and I had to restart the level to completes it. While that is slightly irritating, again, I love the music and can play this mindlessly in the evenings, so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. Still give the game thumbs up!
