About GastroRun
Gastro Run is a fast-paced educational adventure game full of obstacles, boss fights, races, with
lessons placed throughout the game. You play as Gastro, a witty nano-bot whose goal is to help
patients with enzyme deficiency break down food as it travels through the digestive system.
Enter the human’s GI tract and shoot enzymes as you observe how food breaks down in different
organs.
Race Nutrient stealing “leechers” in the winding twists and turns of the small intestine.
Defend the stomach walls from attacking germs to finally cure the patient.
This game will test your flying and shooting accuracy while teaching you about the human digestive
system.

Educational, free, and fun for what it is. Has a wide variety of activities and challenges that keeps it fresh throughout the game. Racing, shooting, boss fight, etc. Can be a little glitchy at times.1 found this helpful
As edutainment products go, it's not bad. It's a reasonably accurate description of the digestive process. Getting all of the Steam achievements took a couple of retries but the game does have a level select option to pick the specific area you need. It has a small variety of minigames-a couple where you dodge things, a couple where you shoot things, and a racing game. One problem I noticed was that the game needed to be restarted to make progress count in some cases. It appears that if you quit a level in the middle the game you can still go to the play option and load a level-but at the end of that level the game will get stuck and not progress or give you a score. If you restart the game, this problem is solved. You can hit restart at the end of a level and attempt to get a 3 star rating and this problem doesn't occur. A way I noticed to check if your progress will function is to check the store tab-if you get a menu that shows Skins and two other options and if click on the skins it will tell you the price. If it just shows 3 skins when click store and they all cost 100 gems that means your game is bugged and needs to be restarted.
