Gear of Glass: Eolarn's war

The dystopian setting of the game as well as the beautiful, immersive writing are only some of the reasons I would recommend this visual novel. This game is unique, and the few hours I've spent playing it will surely be an experience I won't forget. I've only been interested in the Master as a love interest, so the comments I have mostly concern this specific route. As a person who finds villains fascinating, I was absolutely charmed by his personality, goals, and backstory. As for the main character, I was more than pleasantly surprised to discover that she could actually be supportive and kind to him and not be punished for it. No forced choices where I have to choose between 'fight him' or 'bite him', as I find in more recent otome games. These two facts above were the reason why I decided to write a review and recommend this game to anyone who might be interested in the same things I am. I've been playing it for a while now, and it's quite immersive, with a very good story

First of all, I really enjoyed the story telling: the pacing is good and keeps you engaged. The story is well written (the small typos once in a blue moon didn't bother me) and the characters feel very real and authentic! Kudos to the creator for putting great effort into the style. Everything from title screen to interface, to dialogue box, to character art is made with love and care, even if it's not perfect in some places. Worth noting that this VN has great value in terms re-playability with a generous amount of choices and endings so you're able to keep discovering new things about the story for a while.
