PHANTOM is a Slow Paced Single Player Ghost Hunting game.(Screenshots were captured with Lumen on. You can enable it in the Graphics settings)
GAMEPLAY LOOP:You'll explore, and investigate Haunted, and typically Abandoned locations.
1. Identify one of 30 ghost types by using your EMF Reader, Parabolic Microphone, and UV Light.
Then you can leave, or stick around to complete the Side Investigation,
via the ghost's Age, Cause of Death, Favorite Item, and Wall Writing.
2. Level up, and use your Level Points to buy one of 20+ upgrades,
or buy new equipment, like a UV Tripod, or a Smart Watch.
or buy a new map, like the School, Arcade, or Cave.
3. RepeatYou can also play the game with no threat to you from the start.STARTING EQUIPMENT:
LOCATIONS:The locations in this game are inspired by Real, and Unusual places.
From more Typical locations like a House or a School,
to more unique ones like a Pirate Ship, or a Cave.
There are currently 8 locations available:
SMALL: The House, Arcade, Police Station
MEDIUM: The Diner, School, Movie Theater
LARGE: The Ghost Ship, Cave.OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:There are over 10 unique traits and abilities spread out various ghosts, like Afraid of the Dark, Shy, Fears the living.
Aggression, Temperature, and camera evidence (Shadows, Orbs, Fog) are also traits of that specific ghost type.
Traits or other unique behavior you notice can be written in that ghost type's dedicated Note in the tablet,
to be used for future investigations.I'm a solo developer, and this is the first PC game I ever worked on.

This game is, and always will be: Single Player Only!
this is a slower-paced, Investigation game, and not really suited or balanced for multiplayer.
This game also uses some Lightly satirical content, like location names, and location backstories.

- EMF Reader - See the ghost throw an item, turn on a TV, or move some furniture?
Chances are, it left some evidence there. - Thermometer - When a ghost is Haunting a room, the temperature may Raise, Lower,
or in some cases even stay the same. May be useful for identifying where the ghost is. - Camera - Useful for finding Side Evidence like Wall Writing.
Useful for identifying the Ghost Type's Side Evidence as well. - Parabolic Microphone - Allows you to hear many of the ghost's interactions from further away,
as well as their Main Evidence, Like Screams or Whispers. - Spirit Box - Useful for completing the Side Investigation,
as well as identifying the room of a Inactive Ghost. - UV Light - Used to spot Fingerprints, Footprints, or Claw Marks from the ghost.
- Flashlight - Lights up dark areas.

Nice game you have there. I unlocked everything, and I have to say the last map (the cave) is gorgeous! This game brings in some great new things into the ghost investigation genre. You can play it with no hunts or with hunts, there are different ghosts with interesting behaviours, it feels smooth to play. There are some things that can be added or polished but it's a good start for a great game. Keep up the good work! Would definitely recommend playing it!3 found this helpful
I absolutely love this game so much. The dev went above and beyond with designing the maps, they are different and so detailed. It is honestly a great single player ghost game and I am excited to see what the dev comes up with for future updates. I love the fact that I can play in investigator mode (no hunts) or hunter mode (hunts) . The dev is absolutely amazing and listens to the players and wants feedback on what we would like to see in the game. This is one game I can honestly say is worth the money and keeps getting better the more updates come out.2 found this helpful
As a deaf gamer, this paranormal ghost investigation game is the MOST deaf-friendly across all other ghost investigation games. What appealed to me about this game is that you can choose No Hunt, or have Hunt (unlock at player level 10), and you'd STILL get XP on No Hunt mode, so for anyone who enjoys investigating the ghost type more than dealing with hunts, this game have that option for you. The tutorial/training is VERY well explained, and I'm enjoying just chilling and investigating the ghost type, the No Hunt mode can be seen as a "cosy ghost hunting game" mode. The solo developer worked hard and actually listened to feedback. Why did I say that this is the most deaf-friendly ghost investigation game? Because the developer actually added in CAPTIONS, the distance of interactions, for example, 'item thrown (far)', 'Switch clicked (very close)' which is super helpful for me to know where ghost is interacting at, and both Spirit Box and Parabolic Microphone both gave subtitled answers. Those accessibility options are in Options to turn it on or off. I like that some of the evidence can be BOTH, for example, there is an EMF 4 ghost, EMF 5 ghost, AND mixed EMF 4 and 5 ghost, as …2 found this helpful
I love this game - the first EA I bought immediately at full price in over a year. I'jm just at the beginning but the first impression is stellar: (spoilers ahead about game experience and features) [spoiler]-Ghosts have starkly different behaviour without requiring hunts to be activated -Hunts (and thus death) is an optional mode -Items are simple and effective, easy to read and use and evidence is straightforward -You have to add traits for the various ghosts by using the items to measure them - traits are different from evidence, and I LOVE this part -the unlocking system is well balanced, imho[/spoiler] end of spoilers -maps are well designed and detailed to feel lived (and abandoned in fear!) -meant to be single player, in a world of phasmo clones this is *heaven* -the game is straightforward bet even with hours and hours in a few different ghost hunting games it's still challenging, it hits juuuust right -game runs beautifully on my 5+ yo machine and can't wait to see how it runs on my newer one later on PLus, the dev has been such a gem in the discussions, and is very quick to respond to bug reports. It's an okay like realistic ghost hunting game for me. Not bad, not good, just average. I can definitely see some potential with this game and I instantly like the game when I first played it but it does get boring when there is nothing much to do besides doing the same thing again and I feel like you can do so much more on this game. Like what I was hoping like a realistic paranormal investigation game like CSPPI, a relaxing and realistic paranormal investigation game where the spirits don't hunt you but you also did add an option for the ghosts to hunt for players who want the typical ghost hunting games so that's good. I guess for gameplay wise, I understand why you need to randomize the ghost room and instead of sticking to just one room based on the map description. I like how you can investigate the spirit's past, with its name, age and cause of death which makes it more realistic. There is one thing I didn't like though. I feel like you can remove those "categories" in the ghost book which are considered as a ghost type and replace them with other actual ghosts like what you did with the rest. After about 2.5 hours of gameplay: Great and cheap ghost hunting game, love it Update after 50 hours Absolute gem, so cheap. please buy it, especially if you miss/like stuff like old phasmophobia before it all became so complicated❤️
