A CHYOA where the narrator makes all the choices isn't really a "decision-based" game.Pretty dissapointing even more when you take into account the setting of the game.Overall 0/10 wouldn't recommend.21 found this helpful
Worthless choices As it says many pointless choices in this where you will lose no matter what you do and no replay value because of that story is not bad but as i said the choices many of them just seem so damn scripted where you are just meant to loose so it is just pointless.15 found this helpful
Oh boy, normally I really enjoy these kinds of games and I was really hyped for a gladiator themed one. But I feel so unsatisfied with this one. The ending, the story itself... They don't really seem to matter all that much in my opinion. The story itself feels like it has gaps in it a few times. The ending feels forced and rushed, not a good thing. Overall I wouldn't recommend this one to be honest, apologies for that.14 found this helpful
This game had so much potential in the start that just went nowhere in the end, no matter what you do there is only one ending. This is a choose-your-own-adventure game, where you can have multiple endings based on your choices. This is in fact, a lie. 1/103 found this helpful
Two main problems of this game are worthless choices and teenage-esque (even childish) type of storytelling. Ancient Rome theme sounded very interesting, but narration made it awful. Ofc, if you like this style you will like and enjoy this game; otherwise - CoG forum has much better IFs than this one.3 found this helpful
Took me almost 6 hours to finish and I got one of the quicker good endings, I would say the most common one, I enjoyed this game it did have some things that got to me like the lack of direction to other paths and also sometime I would find myself skimming to get past certain points but overall it was a great expirience and [/spoiler I'm going to see if I can get my girl back!]
