Goblin Creed: Origins is a small-scale fantasy action RPG that favors a direct adventure over the sprawling systems normally associated with the genre. Developed and published by 肉鸡工作室, also known as Broiler Studio, it places players in the role of a watchman carrying an urgent warning to his master. The premise is uncomplicated, but it gives the entire journey a clear objective and establishes a sense of urgency from the beginning. Rather than overwhelming the player with numerous quests and complicated progression mechanics, the game concentrates on moving through dangerous environments, overcoming obstacles, fighting enemies, and gradually uncovering the circumstances behind the unfolding crisis. The adventure takes place across four scenarios featuring different environmental challenges. Forests, mountains, rivers, and hazardous pathways turn the journey itself into an important part of the gameplay.
