About Gobyworld
An absurd point-and-click adventure, where you help Goby, a piece of swallowed gum, in his quest to find freedom beyond the digestive system. Transforming the folky myth that swallowed gum remains in the stomach for seven years-- Gobyworld lets you experience the misadventures of an anthropomorphized gum named Goby.


- Use mouse, WASD and keyboard to play.
- Play time is around 30 minutes.
- Explore seven levels and fifteen rooms including the stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum/anus, esophagus and mouth.

Great little adventure game, unique sense of humour makes it a charming oddity
"Gobyworld" is a rather mediocre point and click adventure game with a few mini-puzzles and things, all presented in craptastic 2D retro pixel "art". What do you do in the game? You take on the role of a bit of gum stuck in a bizarre rendition of someones intestines and you have to escape. I mean, thematically these games can work, just look at the entire Oddworld series of platformers. But the technical implementation here just isn't up to scratch. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to s…
