Gods of the Fallen Land is an action-strategy game centered around base building and villager management.
Take on the role of a leader trying to rebuild humanity in a broken and dangerous world. The area layout changes with each play through and your villagers are randomly generated, with their own names, appearances, and traits. Build your defenses and keep your followers safe through the night, while collecting and managing your resources during the day to face the ever growing threats. Lead your followers into battle and make strategic decisions on what to develop and build to survive.

not sure where the tags come from on this one, (rts/ rogue-like) yeah okay... most tower defense games can be considered a RTS. this game is a go F yourself based tower defense with RTS being part of the gameplay. that isn't easy, and isn't fun either. you play the game, gather a small amounts of loots with annoying consumables that are basically useless in majority of situations, and relics that do things to help your (fortress) or playability. lets get to the play-style of the game, the aspect i don't really like at all. playstyle is knowledge based, the more you know about the game and the more you experienced makes it more manageable. meaning the best way to play this game is basically by knowing what all the game has/ can throw at you. knowing best start off building/ resource gathering/ management of resources and (followers) methods too. basically you're going to play this game and just get annihilated until you actually beat it. some may state this (skill issue) but skill isn't always based off of knowledge and the fundamental gameplay mechanics of said game (how you're suppose play it) creating a linear 1.5 way play style. Top 5 wizard game
Drops a masterpiece of a game in 2017 and been gone since then. This is an absolute gem.
I really love this game. But its hard,, like be ready to try to the end hard done the end many times but still hard.. not casual... thinking planning ans rushing and such. choices matter too
I'd really like to recommend this, but RTS with neither active pause or even a slowdown/bullet-time mechanic is just not enjoyable for people like me; completely ruins it. It would be much better with active pause, allowing for planning and thinking without time flying by (and it does fly by very quickly in this game, and the attack waves get brutal fast). Given that it was released in 2017 and there's no update notices on the store page, I'm going to guess there will be no such changes, which is sad, because it seems pretty fun but for that. Regretfully, not recommended for those who don't enjoy full-speed, pauseless RTS.
