Graffiti Bombing

This game offers a campaign like mode and a sandbox creative mode. The campaign mode is this thing where you have to pack a backpack with everything you need before leaving and the time is running constantly with like a day and night cycle thing? At least if I understood it correctly, I never played long enough in a single session to see it turn dark. I do really like the idea of a campaign mode where you have to prepare beforehand and I hope we see this expanded upon in other titles in the future, especially something where you would have to be sneaky about it and hide from possible employees or cops in the area would be a fun thing. Unfortunately, in this game, it doesn’t really feel much different from the creative mode, other than you have a backpack. The can you bring never goes empty and the small industrial area you can move around in is very small and limited. Pretty simple VR simulator where you graffiti and paint over surfaces, works well enough and is free, pretty sure it's made by one person as well so good on them!

Love this. Feels great, nice texture, fun areas to explore... not enough wall to spray! There are a few things I think might make it better, but its just ease of use. Loosing color sucks.. I think having a color dropper to match colors sprayed would be a welcomed feature and a wider variety of nozzles couldn't hurt. Super curious about the locked room haha... is there a way in? The tutorial in the main room was perfect. Vibe is invigorating. Hope this one doesn't get the "King Spray" treatment. I am very excited.

I only played one session and theres some good and some bad. (I will continue to play and my review will reflect this, but it needs to be said) Firstly for a free trail/FTP mode theres a lot of areas which is cool, some different textures like brick walls, train cargo, painted walls etc. However, I dislike the vibe a lot. The skinny hallways feel really creepy and I thought this was a horror game for a moment, would perfer if you could remove that or at least make them optional and something more urban like spawning in an apartment downtown or at least in a small log cabin/house to walk to the train area where you can spray would be a lot more welcoming. Secondly only having white spray paint and a black marker sucked. I wish you included black spray paint too so I could actually explore and be more creative and have some different contract/options instead of only having the one spray can to work with. Especially when the paint roller is also white. Makes it hard to clean your own spot out. (unless im missing something). After ten years the game was a fun way to play. The control on index have never felt very good. When i load up graffiti bombing there are certain pressure mechanics and such things that i am looking to work with. At this point, the game has been called a dud by the dev, probably due to scope issues and the burden of game dev. this not as good as graffiti in Unity gets, this is as good a graffiti bombing gets. And its better than a lot of graffiti options. If this developer made a VR Chat world with the same tools i would basically pay for the VR apartment on the spot. Its nutty good. But the whole thing feels a little clunky and theres a few moments where spray control feels unusual to my wall out back. I got into this 5 years too late and the developer needed about 18 more grand to make this worth sticking to. Support this person, they worked hard and knew what made it good. If they do another game i hope it is smaller and easier to bite into.

Playing the free version. So far i enjoyed the relaxed space to paint. I'm very very new to graffiti spray painting and I was playing on a setup that was compromised so i wouldn't want to judge the game's overall quality from that perspective. However even with the compromised experience, I thoroughly enjoyed my time and will definitely be back to spend more time learning to improve my limited skills. A couple of things that did get me stuck was that i didn't know how to pick up things using the button and flick gesture so i had to figure that out before i could pick up the t.v. remote to then be told how to do it in the intro video on the t.v. Also i have found several times that when undoing a stroke, there will often be one of the strokes in the order missed and it simply just hangs around even after undoing and redoing and undoing.
