Into the Blue. And Beyond.

Take up the role of a skyfarer and embark on a journey across the Sky Realm and the innumerable islands dotting its vast blue expanse. Inside, you’ll find a deep, turn-based combat system packed with nuanced mechanics, elemental strategies, and an enormous array of skills to pull from. Cinematic charge attacks, team-based chain bursts, and towering summons elevate your battles with both devastating effectiveness and dazzling visuals. Whether tackling raids solo or joining fellow skyfarers in real-time co-op raids, there’s always a new challenge to conquer. With more than 70 distinctive classes and robust character and weapon progression, there’s a wealth of content to explore and optimize—perfect for dedicated adventurers.

Fate-Woven Stories

Beyond the main quest lies myriad tales—sometimes heartfelt, sometimes lighthearted, but always rich in character. Each encounter is brought to life with full voice acting, and every new crewmate brings their own story, with fate episodes that delve deeper into their lore. Discover your favorites, strengthen your crew, and forge parties to surmount any challenge. In these boundless skies, Granblue Fantasy offers countless ways to play, and countless reasons to fall in love with the journey.

I haven't played the browser version of Granblue Fantasy so much, but that doesn't mean that I'd like to restart the game from scratch, especially when I've gotten exclusive characters from events like Final Fantasy XI's Prishe. That's why I can't recommend the Steam version just yet. Those of you who, like me, have forgotten how to access the original browser game, this is what you should do: 1) Go to "game dot granbluefantasy dot jp" in your browser (I can't paste the URL here) 2) Click on "Continue" 3) Choose the service you used to create your game account, like Mobage 4) Log in with your e-mail information The Steam version is basically a wrapper for the browser game with few changes. Still, it's strange that it's not yet possible to log on to one's old account. I only keep the Steam version and run it in the background (without creating a new account) when I play the browser version, just to track my time spent on the game.

I play this steam version out of boredom grinding in the browser one. I already played this game for 11 years. Not recommended if you're used to play gacha with genuine stamina systems like chinese gachas. Very recommended if you're a masochist used to grind in games like mmorpgs games. Oh but you can try play this game just to gacha the characters because this game is very very generous (and then please quit and don't build any character you got. this game is so addicting) In conclusion, this game is very not recommended. Thank you

Most people do not realize this is a web-only gacha game from 2014. Original from japan only. I play the gacha game for a long time and it's sad that I can't connect my old account to the steam game. Still I think the UI is good, the banners, story and connent are the exact same from the Japan gacha, so it's not a new start. You will see help summons from the japan server, but you can't connect your japan server account to this steam version. (Which sucks) Lots of reviews have nothing to do with the game, This gacha is it's own kind of fun and chill and in future chapters you unlock auto fight, so you can grind semi-AFK in the future. It's not a game for everyone, but it has it's own charm.
