About Great Mountain Experience

Choose to bungee off a cliff, rattle through an underground cave on a cart with no brakes, or slingshot through the sky in this VR simulator. It's a different way to experience the mountains and its beautiful scenery, so we hope you will enjoy the ride. Bon voyage!

✦ AI summary

Players universally criticize this title as essentially three extremely short non-interactive animations totaling less than a minute of content, with each ride lasting only 10-30 seconds before an inevitable death scene. The core complaint is that it lacks meaningful gameplay, immersion, and value for the asking price, with comparisons to free YouTube content and benchmarking apps being more substantial. One reviewer notes the rides are well-designed and imaginative in concept, but only found them acceptable because they purchased it cheaply as part of a bundle.

Avoid this "game". It consists in 3 extremely short non-interactive animations. You can watch all of them in less than a minute. I paid 40 cents for this "game", and it's more boring than a tech demo. Just watch a 360° movie of a rollercoaster on youtube, and you have more content. First animation. You get slingshotted to a wall, you die. 10 seconds. Second animation. You jump from a cliff (camera upside-down, not VR immersive at all) and a shark eats you, you die. 10 seconds. Third animation. In a mine cart, you jump a cliff and you die. 30 seconds. That's it. There are benchmarking apps with more content. This can be a demo for a future game, definitely not something to be sold.
Played on Oculus Rift. Bought in bundle
I'm wondering why creator of this experience (I can't call this a game) thinks it is worth money? It is just three very short rides. 0/10

A short and truly unplesant experence. Not worth money, not worth waisting your time if it was free.

Three extremely short thrill rides. So short, there’s hardly any content here at all. If they were longer, this would be as good as some of the more well known VR thrill rides. That being said, they’re well designed and imaginative… and got this as part of a bundle for a few nickels… so I’ll still give this Thumbs: UP!
