Vistascapes VR

Vistascapes VR is a free VR experience. It worked on my HTC VIVE system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has four relaxation/meditation experiences you can visit. I got this for free, but i guess this program was paid product at one time, that is why there is many negative reviews on this. CONS: Does Not work with Index controllers. Try this for a quite space experience.

Я бы рекомендовал эту игру всем, кто ищет спокойный и медитативный VR-опыт. Особенно понравится тем, кто любит природу и путешествия. Единственный небольшой минус - хотелось бы больше разных локаций и возможностей для кастомизации окружения. Но в целом, это отличная игра, которая заслуживает внимания. Оценка 9 из 10.

"Vistascapes VR" is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, "Vistascapes VR" is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition. This is just a bunch of 3D scenes you can look at in VR. They aren't even great scenes, and they're 9 years old now. This is why Valve needs QA for stuff that gets shoved on Steam. We get this non-game shovelware on Steam whenever your usual Starbucks barista/McDonalds frycook art school dropout finally gets a restraining order from the local art galleries so turns to Steam Direct to try get their art published somewhere so they can finally dream of moving out of their parents basement. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts. This isn't a game at all, and the craftsmanship and narrative are terrible. This isn't making art better, it's just making gaming worse. Yeah this game sucks even as a tech demo. Rain room is the "nicest" but it's low poly trash with no interact-ability.
