About Gridkeeper

Gridkeeper is a visual incremental game about running "Grids" to mine and sell fuel, research tech, and generate mana. As you'll progress through the game, you'll unlock better tech and add new bigger Grids to your arsenal. How to mine fuel?Easy. Just set up a mine and buy a bunch of MineBots. These hardworking robots will be dedicated to mining fuel and delivering it right to your stockpile. Just make sure you always have enough storage cells to store all the fuel these bots will be mining. Sell this fuel to generate cash, and use that cash to upgrade and buy more MineBots!Research and upgrade techAs you generate cash, make sure to invest some of that into Research Modules. These powerful computers will generate tech points, which can be used to unlock new technology to make your life easier, like bigger mines, faster bot movement, and next-gen MiningBots!Expand your empireAs you'll progress through the game and hit revenue targets, you'll gather enough resources to buy better Grids. This will take your mining operation to the next level, with more power at your disposal to run MiningBots, Research Modules, and Mana Generators!

Idle games are also called "incremental" games because they incrementally reveal more and more mechanics. This game is an idle but it isn't an incremental game, because it never gives you any new mechanics. You buy some miners that give you fuel every so often, you sell the fuel for money, there is mana and research that let you improve the rate of fuel generation. That's the game. Now go get some money and when you get enough, you get the final achievement. That's not enough of a game to sell this on Steam. I don't think Steam should have let this game on here. I do want to say that the animation and idea of the miners filling up themselves with a different color just works out really nicely visually. It just looks nice. Nothing else about this game is good, but that detail IS nice.
Rating: 85/100

A Simple Incremental Game
Gridkeeper is a fun and straightforward incremental game where you manage “Grids” to power Mine Bots, research tech, and grow your mining empire. It’s simple, short, and relaxing, with a good balance of idle mechanics and progression. It took me about 35 hours to reach 100%, making it a solid choice if you enjoy completion-focused incremental games. Nothing groundbreaking, but it’s cheap, enjoyable, and a satisfying grind for achievement hunters.

Game is decent for the price. It didn't take long to beat it but was interesting non the less. It would be nice if the devs added a bit more to it, but it appears they stopped updating after July.
