I'm not going to go hard on a free game, but this isn't good. It sounds decently promising but does nothing well. The map is very basic and so are the enemies. The game plays and moves awkwardly and the sound stutters. You can set key rebinds and see in the menu that they're set, but they don't actually change in-game. So that punch button is forever bound to F, and you'll need it a lot since you lose your spell casting mana quickly, but how are you supposed to move with WASD and frequently punch with F on a QWERTY keyboard? Maybe if you never want to move right. No map display either, so I'm just going down one dead end after another in the opening level. Maybe I'd have liked it more if I got to that outdoor level in the screenshots, but this opening level is so clunky and tedious I can't be bothered to press on. This is the way to do it, though. It's a very basic, amateurish project, the developer understand that, makes it free. So if I ever see anything else from Grimoire Studios in the future free or paid, I'd definitely check it out because the developer is an honest person.5 found this helpful

Pretty good. needs balancing though. its hard to get mana and some spells are op. I wish it had more levels
An absolutely fantastic game. Would love to see what the developers could add too it; only issue is that there were times i really strggled to get my mana back up. It didnt feel like i had enough resources to refuel myself so i got stuck a few times, but beyond that it was an absolute BLAST 10/10 would buy again
