Great game to play while listening to your audio book.

got the game today and played as soon as i got home from work only to discover the perfect game for "relaxing" after the BS of everyday life. this game scratches that chaotic part of your brain that wants to not blink for hours and mumble about skill trees and damage upgrades until the cows come home. after a couple rounds my contacts started to dry out as i fully locked in and i completely forgot i was on a Discord call with my beloved friends. i absolutely cooked with the sniper weapon route and beat the wave 10 boss with zero damage. i'm already planning my next run in my head... i fear i have permanently lost brain cells to this game... the soundtrack and audio effects are awesome and i'm so excited to play more! the music reminds me of what would be on a playlist of songs that are banned in the car if i am driving. i think i could -- and will absolutely end up -- sinking hours into this game. i'm a big fan of rogue-likes, and this one is definitely going on my list of recs! i'm super stoked to see stuff from new developers, and i'm really looking forward to what Slylark comes out with next! cheers!

This game kicks my ass in the best way. Do I die a lot? Yes. But do I take a lot of enemies down with me? Also yes. Super satisfying, can't stop won't stop.
