Dive into the fantastic world of magic and mysteries. The world full of wonders, unusual creatures, witches, and demons. The world where something which you have never seen before awaits in every corner. All kinds of obstacles and traps will not let you rest, as well as various enemies with unique attacks will make you find unexpected solutions and individual tactics for each of them.
One late Halloween night, a mage known by the name of Saref was awakened by some rustling noises in his room. When he opened his eyes, he saw an ugly little devil stealing a magic stone from the table. Saref tried to catch the thief and save the crystal but suddenly looked out the window and saw terrible things… Everything was burning, seething; the fearful monsters, which until recently were the festive decorations, roamed the streets and swept everything out of their paths... People ran in horror to hide in their homes and board up all windows and doors. Chaos and destruction flourished in the town. The dark forces broke free and turned everything upside down. Now Saref must win his magic stone back and overcome the minions of evil before this magic night ends. But the monstrous creatures and demons on your path won’t surrender that easy…

Rotten camera, rotten visibility, rotten controls, rotten checkpoints, no respawns, no healing, not even when leveling/raising HPs... It's supposed to be a simple Hack n' Slash little toy, but even that low a bar was too high for these devs, who only managed to come up with a clunky grinder.2 found this helpful

It's almost as if the controls and camera hate you.
Halloween Mysteries Steam Review- 4-21-25 ------------------------------------------------- This game is atrocious. I'd ask for my money back, but I'm afraid the dev would have to take my dollar out of it's frame on the wall to give it back. -- The camera is wildly disconnected from your character, and zooms in and out enough times in a few seconds to make you seasick on land. -- The writing is terrible. The pronunciation is terrible. The "music" is just pops and clicks. The sound effects are just more pops and clicks (yeah, my sound is working just fine, it's the game that sucks). -- Playing on mouse and keyboard, and I let the game know that, but I still get "bumper" and "trigger" control prompts. NOTHING is re-mappable. -- Why do I have a monster 4K TV and a monster 4K GPU if 1080 is the highest rez? Why, God? -- I have no idea if my game saved or not. I really don't care, because I won't be playing this game again, so it doesn't matter in the slightest. -- Halloween is my favorite holiday and time of the year, and this game just kicked my love for October 31st in the mini- pumpkins. visuals are nice enough with that fun halloween spookieness, but the rest is a disaster. controlling the camera with the mouse feels janky the game constantly eats your inputs when trying to fight enemies just home in on you and wail on you or spam projectiles at you, which also results in sound glitches unavoidable homing projectiles are fired at you from off screen your lock on for your ranged attack only works whenever it wants to it's repetitive shlock stay away from this game
