[h1]ADHD friends, beware… [/h1] [b]…this game is more overwhelming and distracting than anything, at least for me. Plus there's some lack of transparency about the future of the game.[/b] I'm an idler and productivity tool lover. Having at the bottom of my screen or on my secondary monitor cute stuff doing their stuff while I do my stuff is greatly soothing, but with this one I have the complete opposite experience I've expected. [b]What did I expected:[/b] an adorable bottom-of-the-screen idler with hamsters doing their activities, with slow progress over time, upgrades, etc. [b]What I got:[/b] something irritating with grating sounds, overwhelming as heck with things popping everywhere all the time. No options to disable certain sounds, there's just music and SFX, no option to reduce motion and animated elements… nothing. Within 10 minutes, I turn all the game sounds off, and hide it in the corner (with this annoying "notification dot", popping all the time). [b]This isn't an idle game, this is a chore requiring your attention at all time.[/b] It reminds more of some virtual pet (F2P) mobile game than a real cute idle game running on its own. I've really been enjoying Hamster Talk! One of the reasons I decided to try it was because I've been playing Bongo Cat, and the two games have a similar fun and casual vibe. Like Bongo Cat, Hamster Talk is simple to pick up, relaxing to play, and surprisingly entertaining. The hamster characters are cute, the interactions are enjoyable, and it's the kind of game you can play for a few minutes or much longer without getting bored. If you like lighthearted games with charming animations and satisfying gameplay, Hamster Talk is definitely worth checking out. As someone who already enjoys Bongo Cat, Hamster Talk felt familiar in a good way while still offering its own unique charm. Overall, it's a fun and adorable game that I've had a great time playing.

I really like this game so far, it is a cute and relaxing idle game that you can run while doing your other tasks. The art style is adorable and the animations of the hamsters are also very cutesy, not to mention their designs especially for the more rare hamsters are very creative.

This game is cute, and I had hope that it would be the one that I keep around to amuse me while I work. I'm in the minority here, but my secondary monitor is in portrait orientation instead of landscape like a normal monitor is. I bought this game the day it was released, and it worked perfectly fine, but after the first update it wouldn't go past the bottom third of my secondary screen. I did send a video in the bug reports section of the discord, which was promptly ignored for over a month, while the devs continued to reply to other people. I bumped the bug report, which was ignored again. Pros: •It's cute •You can minimize it out of the way Cons: •There isn't much to "do" •The hamsters don't interact with anything on their own •The items that they actually can interact with, produce "essences" which are useless?? •They can only walk along the bottom of your monitor. If you want them to go somewhere else you have to drag them, which they'll immediately walk off an edge back to the bottom of the screen anyway •Devs don't seem to care much tbh

SOMEONE UNINSTALL THIS FOR ME!! IF NOT IM PROBABLY GONNA SUFFER CUTENESS OVER EXPOSURE!!! ❤️ Seriously, I run in this in the background on my Ally X, why? Because I can literally take my hamsters anywhere with me!
