Harold Halibut

I really liked this game! it's a bit of a slower paced game, which I had to get used to, but that's part of its charm. This is a game to be enjoyed at a slow pace to take the story in. The style is really nice and there's a subtle sort of humour to it that I really came to appreciate. The minigames were a fun and interactive part of the story and I would've loved more of them. Overall, I'd say it was a great experience and one that really makes you sit down and think about life, relationships and purpose, and you can tell the people who worked on this did it with great love and effort!

I really love the games visuals. It's almost unlike any game i've ever seen. The voice acting is great, and the Visuals are spectacular. But I will say. Honestly. The story in itself is good, just maybe not executed all that well. If you have ever enjoyed cinemasins. You MIGHT find enjoyment outta nitpicking the games story. But otherwise I can't honestly say I'd pay full price for the game, which is something that hurts me to say when this game is obviously such a passionate project of love (as far as i can tell). 3/5 The game is buggy, it froze on me 4 times within my playrun, the dialogue options don't always say what you might've intended, and again, the writing past chapter 3 starts to kinda decline. Overall I enjoyed the game, but I was eventually rushing to finish. If you enjoy TAKING YOUR TIME and slowpaced gameplay, And ARENT Nitpicky about story making sense, then i'd suggest buying the game on sale.

Very enjoyable, I loved the narrative and the art style is quite unique. Never missed a beat.

An absolutely beautiful game. Its a linear story experience like an adventure game, but without any obtuse puzzles!

Чудернацька та незвична гра, про знаходження свого місця в житті. Сюжетно досить приємна гра, цікаво спостерігати за історією (жанрово це щось середнє між меланхолійною драмою, антиутопією, сатирою та фантастикою), що чудово підкреслюється неймовірним візуалом, що однозначно є її основою прикрасою. Все виглядає як ляльковий мультфільм, і сприймається я вам скажу, дуже свіжо і цікаво. Єдиний ньюанс, і я б сказав що досить серйозний, це що гра - ізометричний симулятор ходьби. Тут ну вкрай мало геймплею, настільки, що його фактично не існує, все що ти робиш, це бігаєш з точки А до точки Б, за новою порцією діалогів, і далі знову бігаєш, уже до точки В, Г Д, і так всю гру. Два пазла, і марафон ходьби. Нелінійності тут немає, фінал тут один, інтерактивності тут доволітаки мало, тому не зовсім зрозуміло чому ця історія стала саме грою, а не якимось фільмом чи взагалі серіалом. Тим не менш я не вважаю що гра погана, історія та візуал справді чудові, і коштують того щоб спробувати. Тому скажу так: якщо ви готові сприйняти Харольда Халібута, не як гру, а як такий собі мультфільм від студії А24, у якому так трапилось, що можна походити за головного героя по локаціям, тоді можете спробувати,…
