TLDR; If you are looking for a game with Retro Styled difficulty with no regards for modern conventions, this could be for you. Else I'd recommend moving on. First the good: -Bright neon colors -Smooth movement -Support for resolution and fullscreen settings (not all games at this price point has that feature) The bad: -The game is very zoomed on you. So you have less than a second to react to an enemy coming from the top or the bottom of the screen. -Your bullets seem to care about level surfaces, their bullets do not -Random spread of the bullets can be enough to miss a target 2 body lengths away from you when you are shooting directly at them. Other thoughts, unlike a lot of modern Roguelikes there are no mechanics for unlocking things before beating bosses. So you don't get any character choices. In other words if you don't like the initial weapon you start with.. too bad. You either have to get really lucky, or keep on trying until you beat a boss. I can not recommend this game to the average gamer. I can only recommend it to players that are looking at retro simplicity and difficulty in their games.
