About Haunted Hotel: Phoenix Collector's Edition
Elephant Games, the studio that brought you Grim Tales and Surface, bursts into flames with the next explosive chapter of Haunted Hotel!
Wildfires are breaking out all over Northern Oregon, with witnesses claiming that the fires were caused by the legendary Oregon Phoenix. Is a mythical creature truly to blame, or is it just a cover for a clever arsonist? Travel to the scenic mountains of the Pacific Northwest and dig through the ruins of a burned university to gather clues about the fire that started them all. Will you uncover the truth, or will you become the Phoenix's final victim?
This is a special Collector's Edition release full of exclusive extras you won't find in the standard version. The Collector's Edition includes:
• Uncover more Stone Spires mysteries in the bonus game!
• Multiple collectibles hidden throughout Stone Spires
• Keep track of challenges and victories with achievements
• Wallpapers, concept art, music, and more!
• When all seems lost, consult the Strategy Guide
This is a Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game, meaning a specific genre of story-driven, point & click adventures. Throughout the game, players are tasked to find a list of objects hidden within a particular scene, and to occasionally complete various mini-games/puzzles.

I generally like the Haunted Hotel Series but this one is underwhelming. Three hours playing time is extremely short for a game with a Bonus Chapter. Abrupt endings and reused backgrounds make for a lazy entry.4 found this helpful
I like this game because it is visually appealing, It is difficult enough to challenge me but not so difficult that I lose interest. The hidden object scenes are also hard enough to keep me interested. The puzzles are a mixture of the ridiculously easy and really tricky. So far, there has only been one puzzle (rafting across a river) which required any manual dexterity. Although I succeeded (after several attempts) I don't like having to do things which require coordination and speed. If you want to zoom about, shooting things and dodging bullets (or anything which requires similar skills) I don't think this game is for you. If you want to make your way from scene to scene, unravelling a series of clues and under no constraints of time limits, this is great fun.2 found this helpful
Okay, If you've played the other Haunted Hotel games, this is not like those. It felt like it was more mystery case files than Haunted Hotel. Also the ending to both the main game and the bonus chapter felt so unresolved. It's almost like they got all the way to the end and just didn't finish it out. I don't know if it was meant to be played in pair with a Mystery Case files game, but I wish it'd like told us, if that was the case. Normally at the end of these Haunted Hotels there's some big battle, this didn't even have that! I mean, If you wanna play it, go ahead, but honestly... I kinda wish I'd skipped it.
I would recommend this game to anyone. 5 stars.
I really like this series and this chapter is a good one. Lots of fun puzzles and extra collection items.
