It is VERY easy to soft-lock yourself from being able to progress. I did it TWICE in the main story and AGAIN in the Bonus Chapter. I had to start the game over FROM THE BEGINNING because the game wouldn't let me go back for something. Now I am locked out of the Bonus Chapter with no way to restart it unless I create a new profile and play the main game a THIRD TIME! No thank you.2 found this helpful
This game is a 10/10 in my book of HOG's I have played. If you want a great storyline with solid puzzles, great graphics, an immersive play styled HOG, and a haunted feel to a game - then this is your game. So good. Worth the money.1 found this helpful
Very nice game. Right when you think ow thats it, its all over I have beat the game, Nope there is more to do. Plus : Nice game with nice graphics. Good story. Has a LOT of puzzles Great atmosphere Cons : Not very many hidden object scenes. But when they are there its great fun.
I love BFG so much, grew up playing them on my grandma's desktop and this hits a type of nostalgia that cannot be matched. I am a quick player and it still took me about 3 hours to finish the game, most games like this tend to only take me about 30min to an hour. Love the game play, love the story, and LOVE the morphing objects throughout.
This isn't any different to any other HOGA for the last 8 years. It started off really well, I've never come across a game where you're essentially playing as a ghost, so i had high hopes, but was dismayed when I started seeing endless, pointless shapes you have to fill in weird inexplicable places that make zero sense why somebody would have. I appreciate these games stretch incredulity, but to have a star shape on the floor, that opens a floor board, which reveals a safe that you need an a clock shape to open, then gives you a bird that opens an ornament that reveals a film reel that then reveals a number to open a gate is ridiculous. There's no real "puzzle", you're simply churning. By that I mean you have to find an object, which then needs another object, which then needs a key etc. and so on. The puzzles were very easy, have been done a million different times. The hidden object parts were well drawn, the story line was weird, but interesting to a certain extent. I just really wish developers could look at previous classics, such as Maze 360, Ravenhearst etc. to comprehend why they were so good. They were PUZZLE games, they were innovative and refreshingly different. If I see…
Brilliant! Intriguing mindful. Excellent puzzles.
