Haunted Tower: Tower Defense

The towers in this tower defense do very little, almost no damage to the mobs. The cost of these are high which means its very tough to save enough gold to buy more towers. The only thing you have to offset this is a teleport skill... This means you basically try to loop enemies back to the start to run past your weak as heck towers, over and over and over and over until you actually kill them, usually with your other skill, a emp grenade that does more damage then all the towers combined but has a 60 second cool down.... What this means for gameplay is that with most levels small enough the mobs can run from start to finish in about 2 min, end of taking like 45min of snoozefest gaming trying to stay awake long enough to put your teleport right in front of your castle. And boss fights that are 5-10min of giving your towers 6, 7, 8 trips of the boss running past them to kill. I'm pretty sure I've lost more levels due to falling asleep then anything else... That's how exciting this is. latest patch, they have killed teleport, its all but useless now, and the towers didn't get any kinda of damage boost.... I really had to force myself to play the game because I kept thinking ma…

Worst TD I've played in a while. The upgrade options are boring (+X% damage, no upgrade trees). Upgrading towers is less useful than building more towers, so you just plaster the map with towers. but you can't just click the tower's hotkey - no! - you click on the map one tower at a time and select each tower individually. The same goes for upgrading. All in all, it's just too fiddly, uncreative and uninspired.

I might change this review later, but right now I'm really annoyed with the game. I found the first three levels fun and casually enjoyable. Level four might as well have been a different game. Certainly a much more challenging level. I completed it on one star and went ahead with level 5. I have yet to complete level 5. I don't know if I've missed some vital component of the game or what, but the incredible disparity between the first three levels and the next two is absurd. Edited to add - after the first three levels, this game is basically unplayable.

This is an enjoyable, straightforward strategy game ideal for leisurely gameplay. Though the limited number of levels is an obstacle, I would recommend this game. The only snag I have found so far is in the survival mode and the upgrades to skills, the Vortex and EMP, respectively. Once they reach max, the game locks me out of continued levels.

Simple but very good TD

It's a nice little TD. I find it very aggrevating how I can exit a game by accident. Usually from alt tabbing and returning and just pressing the wrong thing. It needs a windowed mode without manipulating the exe.
