About Haunting Hour
A wild, multiplayer, puzzle solving, race against time!
Haunting Hour is a cross-platform multiplayer VR escape room experience that mixes a silly atmosphere with serious puzzle solving. Players have one hour to complete a series of physical and mental challenges while brewing potions, chasing cats, and generally wrecking the place. If they can break the spell binding them to the castle, they just might escape before the witch comes home.
Silliness aside, the game is a challenge, and many players will have to make multiple attempts if they want to escape the evil witch’s clutches. The castle is devious, but the rewards are bountiful. Special achievements and challenges will earn players unique costumes. Work hard and communicate with your team or you won’t stand a ghost of a chance!
The witch is out and now the party starts!
Playing in a full on 3.3m X 3.0m space is highly suggested, but not necessary!

fun VR co-op game to play with your friends. Is very hard. Am stuck. Help appreciated plz.2 found this helpful
The art is beautiful, sound design is wonderful, the script is awesome, but the user experience is frustrating. Sooo much potential! Problems I've gotten frustrated with: *Held items still have collision. So trying to hold an item, like a book, can be more difficult than you expect it to be when you are near a wall, for example. *The teleport function requires a twist of the arm, instead of the usual joystick-controlled teleport aim. Something that wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for the next frustration... *Each time you teleport forward (twisting your hand 90 degrees), to keep going forward you have to twist in the opposite direction each time. I can't explain this one. *Valve Index Knuckles support is sorta there, but the hand pose is wrong so it makes it difficult to play with. Had to switch to HTC Wands. *Having a quick-turn option would be EXTREMELY helpful in this type of game (using joystick left/right or touchpad swipe) *Books constantly fall through floor and disappear completely making progress impossible. *Books, when grabbed, frequently get positioned on the hand at weird angles. It makes it difficult to see the text of the book when it's backwards. I'm afraid to put…1 found this helpful

fun vr co-op game. Just can't figure out how to beat it...1 found this helpful
Fun Co Op Escape room Game to play with friends. Picking up items was somewhat buggy and items would randomly jump out of my hands or fall through the floor. But then re appear at the lost and found part. It was also not obvious straight away that you could travel up to the second floor with the movement. Still the game was fun, we only got 2 orbs on our first attempt but looking forward to trying more.1 found this helpful
Garbage game. Looks like a student project. How is this unrefined, messy, sloppy "game" not listed as Early Access or something? Confusing menus and controls. Confusing start room/lobby. Ugly primitive graphics. It's 2019, people! Why, in this modern age, are these games still looking like the Dire Straits "Money for Nothing" video?!? I don't care how small your studio is. You can at least implement some kind of noise mapping at the bare minimum. So sick of getting fooled into buying indie trash games on Steam. Steam (and especially VR) is overrun by garbage indie crap tricking me out of my money and time. This kind of stuff is what is going to sink VR before it even gets started. Grateful for the refund policy.
