Helheim Hassle

Fun but disappointing. It accused me of cheating because I remembered the puzzle solution and cut off dialogue while insulting me. (In the woods with the four spinny things). I REFUSE to be called a cheater for PAYING ATTENTION. Very rude. Very unnecessary. “Oh i bet you looked it up online” no i had to restart because i missed out on some of the berries and music recordings and figuring out how to free Fenris and got stuck in the final puzzle slog with Odin that gives you no time to figure things out unless you managed to get all the smoothies. Developer really should consider “what if the game is being replayed by someone who is actively enjoying it” alongside “what if someone cheated at the easier puzzle when much harder ones are waiting down the line” like the draugr and snowball puzzles and fixing the heaters.

Unique fun puzzle solving game, aside from a boss battle or two towards the end which was a bit frustrating for me (keyboard skill issue i guess). Bought it when 95% off, which is a total robbery, would definitely reccomend consider buying it if its 40% off or more

Probably one of the funniest games I've ever played. Love the puzzle mechanics and detaching bodyparts.

Story: In the time of Vikings, a kid named Bjorn doesn’t want to get involved with the battling and fighting like the other Vikings and tries to hide during the latest battle. But an accident caused him to fall to his death and land on a bear and while killing the bear was an accident, it made him too cool to go to Helhiem and was sent to Valhalla. Years later, a skeleton named Pesto tries to go to Helheim for an errand but can’t get by the new gate so she resurrects the first Viking she sees(Bjorn) to help her. But he only agrees on the condition he gets to stay in Helheim. I think the main factor if you’ll enjoy this game would be the main duo of Bjorn and Pesto. Especially Pesto. Bjorn is a pretty likeable guy. Sure he’s a pacifist but he’s considerate of others and if he’s given the chance, will make up for any crap he pulled. Like any side quest or activity that requires you to apologise to someone always left a smile on my face. Pesto can be a bit more of a turn off though if you’re not a fan of her character type. She’s impatient, doesn't do much, more bark than bite and tends to complain a lot. Granted there are signs she is enjoying herself and cares more than she lets…
