Hellgate VR

Why on earth would you bring back this cool ass IP just to make the laziest VR game ever. Remake Hellgate London instead!

Game uses a movement system which is not based on any axis. Therefore, sometimes you move forward by pressing left, sometimes right etc. No other VR game does this, and so it makes the whole experience disorienting and confusing. Also, Index controls not mapped. We aparantly have to do this ourselves (would have taken the devs 5 mins). Why go to the effort of making a game to spend absolutely no thought whatsoever on how it plays? They could have fixed these problems in the time it took me to write this review.

Hellgate VR is an ambitious but deeply uneven attempt to revive the Hellgate franchise through virtual reality, translating a once-beloved demon-slaying universe into a first-person VR shooter format. I tried for about half an hour to get the game to work. If I was not getting a fatal exception error I couldn't get past the start new game screen. I was looking forward to playing this very much. I enjoyed the original a lot. So as you may imagine I am very disapointed.

make a refund asap, it's not working on modern vr devices

Doesn't work with any controllers except Vive.
