About Helping Hand
Imagine this: you’ve been in a horrible car accident, every bone and muscle in your body is broken and the only thing you can use to express yourself is your left hand…
Welcome to Helping Hand!
This game is about communicating with characters, unlocking new environments and possibly ruling the world - all with just your left hand. Throughout the game, you can use up to seven unique hand gestures to communicate with people and fiddle with your environment. Careful though, try not to anger people too much – your life could depend on it!
Helping Hand works with a keyboard and mouse. Each finger within the game relies on a separate input. By default, the controls are:
“1” for your pinky finger
“2” for your ring finger
“3” for your middle finger
“4” for your index finger
“Space Bar” for your thumb
As you press each button, your finger will bend. If you bend your fingers in the right combination, you will form a gesture. Check out the instruction screen if you’re stuck and feel free to change the finger inputs inside the game!
Good luck! And try to be nice to Nurse Barbara…

✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the game's humor and nostalgic charm, with several noting it's entertaining for a short burst of gameplay and delivers genuine laughs initially. However, common complaints include repetitive dialogue that wears thin quickly, broken achievements that require grinding or workarounds, unskippable cutscenes, and frequent deaths that force restarts, making it feel more like a novelty experience better suited to watching than extended play.
Its funny the first time, then all the dialog gets boring. The achievements are glitched, if you want the achievements then you have to sometimes play for a certain amount of time for it to finally give it or do another achievement, the game is a nightmare in that part.1 found this helpful
It is very, very funny, but it's kinda just a joke game. You probably get the same amount of enjoyment by watching a playthrough on YouTube. Tho I will say it IS very fun for like an hour or so.
good game to pass the time
There's no skip cut scenes. There's a million ways to die and be forced to start over.
This game feels JUST like one of those old flash games I used to played back in elementary. Thanks, Hubblegum, for curing my depression. :)
