Next Hand Master

"Next Hand Master" is a 2D retro pixel Flash style block moving/sudoku style puzzle that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. You move a number of boxes simultaneously on a 2D maze/puzzle grid. If you move any of the boxes into a spike or trap, the level restarts. You must use the teleporters and other mechanics to get each of the boxes you control to an exit. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. The quality of the game is roughly lower than free web/browser games but the developer seems to think this is worth $1 USD, I don't think it is. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers.
