Step into a fictional Eastern European country in the 1970s and navigate the complex political landscape. This game is more than just a battle of units on a virtual battlefield, it's a battle for power on the political scene. You'll need to consider the economic situation, the ideologies of the population, and the actions of other political parties as you make your way to the top.

SOME GAME MECHANICS FROM THE GAME
Departments
Political party is formed by 4 departments: Internal affairs, Finance, Propaganda and Power. Make sure you balance them well and use full potential of their strength.
Documents
Leading the political fight means a lot of bureaucracy. You control the entire party and state with documents and contracts. Sign important documents and overview all important folders and mails.
Member actions
There is a lot to handle when it comes to party members. Make sure they are not unloyal and protect them from being killed or sent to prison.
Ideology
People in the state perceive the player's political party and its ideology according to the way the player handles individual situations.
Elections
Elections are one of the most important events in the state. It is necessary to prepare for the election campaign and choose strong candidates.
Economy
The political party with the largest representation in parliament is in charge of the state's economy.
Institutions
Banks, schools, prisons or media houses. These are important to control. Each of them gives you more actions you can do in the state.
Buildings
In each city, you will find different buildings with different benefits. However you need to appoint key members in the management of the buildings first.
State laws
The state laws determine the rules and the course of the entire state which everyone, including the player, must follow. Rules are not to be broken, however they are to be changed!
...and much more...

The game is no longer being developed and unfortunately it is still monotonous.4 found this helpful
Amazing idea for a game, love the concept and core gameplay loop. Could have been one of the best games of its kind. But it is ruined by many unpolished and unecessarily annoying things. None of them are by themselves so bad as to warrant a negative review, but all together they make the game feel unfinished and low effort. I know there was a lot of effort put in this game since it is amazing if you ignore all the problems I am about to list, and even more that I forgot to list. 1. Saving does not save your favourite characters, the game has a usefull feature of being able to favorite any character, it helps in finding them later among the 100 characters you possess and even more characters the other political parties posess. The problem is, if you save the game, close it, open it, load your save, THE FAVORITE CHARACTERS ARE NOT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MARKED ANYMORE. WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥. This game contains too much caracters to waste your time finding the important ones again and again every time you start up the game again, this has lead to me developing unhealthily long playing sessions because I dont want to lose my precious bookmarks. 2. Unecesarily high performance requirements, due to a tiny ♥♥♥♥…4 found this helpful
Here to Stay is a game where you compete with other political parties over control of a small, unnamed country. It is a hidden gem when you look past its undoubtedly numerous, but largely superficial, imperfections. The game centres around your party members, without any members, your party cannot rule, you need to assign them to the right jobs and slowly level them up. There are a finite number of members in each region, so you need to fight your rival parties over the best members through bribing, deceit, and intrigue. It has a fairly steep learning curve, but after a couple of hours of gameplay, you receive the reward of developing an intuitive understanding of its mechanics and inner workings. I had a lot of fun slowly turning my country into a fascist dictatorship over around 10 years, I eventually managed to tighten my grip over the political system, sideline my opposition in the Parliament, and remain in power indefinitely. This is not a game for the faint of heart or impatient, but the rewards are immense if you give it the chance to shine. Pros: - Surprisingly in-depth features for a game of it's size - Good party management mechanics - Short Election cycles, allowing…2 found this helpful
This game is a "woke"less gem. The fulfillment of some activists requests is unfortunately flawed.. even after fulfillment they remain visible. Can´t place achievements to showcase, the game don´t show up on steam games list..2 found this helpful
While this game clearly is missing the development needed to make it a truly great game, it is built on excellent foundations and is a fun and addictive (if a bit tedious) game for 1-3 runs or ~5- 15 hrs, which isn't awful for the price.
I honestly didn’t want to leave a bad review because the game itself is actually good and worth what I paid for it. The main concept is pretty cool, and it feels like if you keep playing and learning, you can eventually figure out how to win. I definitely recommend watching the tutorial video the creator made, it helps a lot. That said, it’s disappointing that the game hasn’t been updated since 2023. It really feels like it needed more time and attention. There are still bugs that can make the experience frustrating at times, and the path on how to properly progress isn’t always very clear, even with the “pro tip” included. The foundation of the game is solid, and I do think it had potential. But without updates and bug fixes, it feels unfinished. If you don’t mind occasional bugs and some trial-and-error figuring things out, it can still be enjoyable. I just wish the developer had continued supporting it.
